Boys' Hair

PDFPrintE-mail

  • The over‑riding principle governing the length of boys' hair is that it be neat and tidy in appearance, as befitting a pupil of John Ross College.
  • Hair must at all times be away from the ears, collar and eyebrows when it lies in its natural position.
  • Colour rinses must be compatible with natural hair colour.  No skinheads.
  • Boys, who arrive at school unshaven, will have to report to the front office, go home and then return to school.
  • Sideburns may not extend beyond mid-ear.
  • No patterns may be cut or combed/greased into the hair.
